Home remedy lemon juice:
Those who want to change the colour of their hair usually go to the hairdresser or use a colour pack from the drugstore. But it also works naturally. If you don't want to change your hair thoroughly, but only lighten it a little bit, lemon juice could be the key to success for you. It's a classic household remedy that makes it possible to lighten almost any industrially manufactured hair care, and styling products contain unhealthy ingredients and chemicals. This problem can be easily avoided by producing your own hair care products. This is a cheaper alternative to the usual drugstore products.
To create your personal hair styling products, you need the following ingredients:
- 250 millilitres of water
- One teaspoon of honey
- A few dashes of apple vinegar
The procedure is as follows:
First, the water must be heated to about 40 degrees in a pot. Then you add the honey. Now the bank is taken off the stove. Finally, add the cider vinegar to the mixture and stir everything together.
As soon as everything has cooled down, you can put your hair setting lotion in a spray bottle and use it to give your hair a hold after styling.
The effect will be even more intensive if you replace the water in the recipe with beer. You don't have to worry about the smell, it is gone after a few minutes—any hair colour. Even with dark hair tones, slightly lighter nuances are achievable.
This is how it works:
Squeeze the juice of about 3 lemons. Depending on how long your hair is, this amount can vary slightly. Then you distribute the squeezed juice in your hair. If your hair is strained or coloured, do not cover the tips at first. After 15 minutes, you can also distribute the liquid. In total you should leave it in your hair for 30 minutes, that means half an hour on healthy hair and 15 minutes on the damaged ends.
Afterwards, you should apply a hair conditioner, because the lemon juice dries out the hair quickly despite its purely natural origin. In our magazine you can also find out how to care for curly or thin hair.
